TOP Community Consultation Meetings- May 2010
Community partners attended the TOP 2010 ‘Emerging from the Recession – Challenges and Opportunities’ Community consultation and planning workshops held Tuesday, May 11, 2010 8:00am – Noon at St. Lawrence College in Brockville and Wednesday, May 12, 2010 8:00am – Noon in Kingston.
Guest presenter Mario Lefebvre, Director of the Centre for Municipal Studies, Conference Board of Canada discussed the impact of the recession from a global and local perspective. Participants provided input on how the recession has affected the local workforce and shared and developed project ideas to address local workforce challenges for 2010 and beyond. Handouts from the meeting are provided below.
